Parade Application

I acknowledge that I must have a designated person for immediate waste removal per City of Gaffney laws.

I have read and understand the full parade rules and safety guidelines found here. 

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge the Parade Rules have been read, accepted and will be abided by.

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I desire to participate in the South Carolina Peach Festival Parade which is entitled and defined in hereafter as "Parade." I also acknowledge that my decision to participate in the Parade is totally voluntary. I authorize the use of any photos, both digital and print, for South Carolina Peach Festival and posting on websites and in another print/digital media. I agree that I am fully aware of the risks and hazards inherent in entering and participating in the Parade, including but not limited to wire, road, pedestrian, participant and other hazards in the Parade and hereby elect to voluntarily register and participate.

I, the under-signed, hereby assume all risk of illness or injury in the Parade in which I voluntarily participate. For and in consideration of permission to participate in the Parade, I hereby irrevocably and forever release, discharge, waive, and hold harmless the South Carolina Peach Festival and its officers, directors, employees, sponsors, and volunteers (collectively referred to as "South Carolina Peach Festival") from all claims, losses, causes of action and liabilities of any kind (including attorney's fees) arising out of or relating in any way to the Parade. I voluntarily waive any claims that I might have against the South Carolina Peach Festival, and I understand and agree that the South Carolina Peach Festival assume no responsibility or liability for any injury to persons or property (including property that is lost, stolen or damaged), that may occur during the Parade. I agree that I am at least 18 years of age and am bound by all the terms of the Hold Harmless and Assumption of Risk Agreement. I agree this instrument, in its entirety, is intended by me to be binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, agents, and/or assigns.

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I will notify my participants that they are responsible for any personal injury and/or property damage resulting from participation in the parade. I specifically release and discharge in advance the City of Gaffney from any and all liability. As the applicant, I further understand that if I, or anyone from my organization, fails to comply with all rules, unit/entry will be removed from parade immediately and will be subject to suspension from future participation.
