Important Deadlines & Logistics

  • Registration: Open until July 10, 2026, or until the first 100 entries are received.
  • Line-up: Begins at 8:30 AM. All entries must be in their designated spot by 9:00 AM. Late arrivals may be moved to the end of the parade.
  • Check-in Point: You must enter the line-up from the South end of Limestone St. (off O’Neal St.) and pass the checkpoint at Corry St./Hwy 105.

Parade Rules & Safety

  • No Candy/Handouts: To ensure child safety, throwing candy, favors, or handouts of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • Vehicle Requirements: All motorized vehicles must provide proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license.
  • Spacing & Speed: Maintain 20–30 feet between entries and a minimum speed of 5 mph.
  • Performances: Stopped performances are only allowed at the intersections of Buford, Floyd Baker Blvd, and Frederick, and must not exceed 60 seconds.
  • Animal Entries: Must comply with City of Gaffney Animal Control laws. A designated “pooper scooper” must accompany all animals for immediate waste removal.
  • Safety Spotters: Floats must have an adult spotter in the cab or beside the float to communicate with the driver.

2026 Application Form

Entry forms will be accepted through Friday, July 10th, or until the first 100 entries are received, whichever is first. Please keep in mind that entries are spaced to allow a mix of floats, bands, walkers, and vehicles – ALL of which are in order then by the date the completed application was received.

All parade entries should reflect this year’s celebration of Peaches, 50 Years of Festival tradition, or America’s 250th Anniversary.
